Upon a successful recovery, the claimant’s net distribution may reflect deductions for the agreed contingency fee and applicable claim-related expenses in accordance with the executed engagement agreement.

CONTINGENCY FEES AND CLAIM-RELATED EXPENSES

American Discovery Group’s recovery services are performed on a contingency basis, subject to the terms of the applicable engagement agreement. There is no upfront fee for our recovery services, and ADG earns its contingency fee only upon a successful recovery.

Certain claims may involve claim-related expenses, which may include postage, delivery or expedited delivery charges, notarization costs, attorney fees when legal services are required, or other expenses reasonably associated with pursuing the particular recovery.

American Discovery Group may advance applicable claim-related expenses so the claimant is not required to pay those expenses upfront or out of pocket. Upon a successful recovery, applicable expenses may be deducted from the gross recovery amount in accordance with the executed engagement agreement.

The specific contingency fee, treatment of expenses, and other financial terms applicable to a recovery are governed by the executed engagement agreement.

RECOVERY PROCESS AND TIMING

Recovery requirements and processing times vary depending on the type of recovery, jurisdiction, governing authority, documentation requirements, legal circumstances, and other factors outside American Discovery Group’s complete control.

Accordingly, American Discovery Group does not guarantee a particular processing time or completion date.

CLAIMANT RESPONSIBILITIES

Claimants are responsible for providing information and documentation that is accurate, complete, and truthful to the best of their knowledge.

Claimants should carefully review any engagement agreement, authorization, affidavit, claim document, or other material presented for signature and should ask questions regarding anything they do not understand before signing or submitting it.
